I spent yesterday in Williamsburg, Virginia. While I love going down there all year long, it's particularly special at Christmas time! The weather was cold and crisp yesterday and I went to Sal's(wonderful local's Italian haunt) for lunch with one of my BFFs, Louise, and then did some Christmas shopping. Before I left I took a stroll in Colonial Williamsburg and snapped some pictures of doors, roof tops, and the Inn. The floral department at CW do an amazing job decorating the historical homes using nothing artificial. Since I'm a "real" Christmas tree girl and love using boxwood and holly and magnolia leaves from my yard ....I love to see how CW works their magic using unusual "real" items! Here's some snaps of my day....

I've always wanted to visit Colonial Williamsburg at Christmastime...thanks for sharing the photos to hold me over for another year :)
